Gedurende ons verblijf zijn we er iedere dag op de fiets uitgetrokken . De zeer nabije omgeving van het parkje vonden wij niet zo interessant. Dus wandelen vanaf het park was voor ons geen optie. Op ongeveer 2 km afstand begonnen de duinen en was je direct in een unieke natuurlijke omgeving . Een bezoek aan Alkmaar was ook de moeite waard .
