"Popped in for a quiet stay. Lots of walkers and bikers. Biker friendly place with nice hard surfaces. In the mountains, so lots of opportunities for winding roads. Some people even walk up in the mountains ;) Kitchen is closed on Tuesday, but everyone took pity on me, it had been a long time since breakfast. Very nice supper. "Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. "Hotel hat keine klassische Rezeption, sondern Automaten. Leider wurde mir ein Einzelzimmer zugewiesen, anstatt das bereits bezahlten Doppelzimmer. Über Gegensprechanlage (Festnetzanruf) neben dem Check-In Automaten war kein Personal erreichbar. Glücklicherweise war auf meiner Expedia-Buchung eine Festnetznummer angegeben. Leider konnte ich auch darüber niemanden erreichen. Aber bei der Ansage, wurde mir sehr zügig (schlecht zum mitschreiben) eine Handynummer für Notfälle mitgeteilt. Nachdem ich...
