"The hotel is in a great location in Folsom. The Folsom outlets are directly across the street and the hotel is a five minute drive to historic downtown Folsom. The staff were very friendly. I ended up arriving in the Sacramento area a little earlier than expected and I called to see if I could check in an hour early. Jessica, the front desk staff on duty, was very accommodating and said that was not a problem.
Now the reason for the lower rating is that the floors by the elevators on the first floor were always wet and dirty. I think the people from the pool track water across the lobby when they come inside. Upon checking in, the room looks okay at first but when I started to unpack I had a can of sparkling water roll under the cabinet with the mini fridge. I pulled the cold can out from under and it was covered in long black hair. I took a shower and noticed the shower curtain had stains. The bathtub and shower walls had small black hairs all over it. I had to pre rinse the tub out before showering. I then get out and grab a towel, it’s covered in black hairs. I grab the second towel, it has a black mold looking stain on it. I ended up grabbing a hand towel and having to dry off with that. I called the front desk to have them deliver new clean bath towels. They apologized and delivered them right away. I refused to walk around barefoot but I noticed crumbs and the carpet just looked like it needed a good carpet cleaning. The pillows were way too soft as well. "
