"The location is unique for sure. It is a beautiful 16-th centaury palace, very well preserved, with original artifacts throughout the place. It felt (to me) a bit spooky/ haunted, which added to the sense of adventure. Rooms are very basic, with very few amenities. Breakfast is served only on weekends - however, the bar across the street offers a decent breakfast alternative. "Pros - Friendly and efficient staff, bed very comfortable, breakfast quite good, complementary wine at checkout. Cons - sensor over bed has annoying red leds which flash all night. Curtains difficult to open."
