"Even though the hotel isn't old, it's run down. It hasn't been looked after properly. Dirty walls, bathroom cleanliness ok, beds uncomfortable. There would a lot of renovations be needed to make this hotel attractive again. The staff is very friendly, especially the people from the reception. Breakfast is basic but yummy and made fresh for you. Location is very good!"

"This hotel is pretty decent. The best thing about it in my opinion is that it had an excellent view of the beach. And the shower was really nice. The rooms are small, not really clean. There was no shampoo and shower gel.The elevator stopped working when we were checking out, but the staff was really helpful, and helped us with our heavy luggage."

"Being in an old church, the architecture of the rooms and the common area is unique and the decor very thoughtful. Staff are great. Highly recommended."

"Warm welcome, very pleasant and helpful staff, well situated in the medina of a small Portuguese walled town. Good internet. Better to take breakfast in small modern cafe opposite entrance to medina."

"Pleasant riad with helpful staff. About a 10 minute walk to the historical ramparts. Portugese Cistern is closed for repairs. About 1/2 hour walk to area with choices of restaurants. Area around the riad was not a touristed area at all. We stopped in El Jadida en route to Casablanca instead of returning to Marrakech from Essaouira, and travelling to Casablanca from Marrakech. However, in hindsight that might have been a better option. "
