"I spent 12 nights at Corinto. I have visited Honduras several times and this was my best trip ever. If you are looking for a quiet and absolutely beautiful place to relax yet have all your comforts of home, this is it. I lived in my pajamas and swim suit the whole time. I planned my meals well, picked up everything at the supermarket in La Ceiba beforehand and never left once I arrived. One time I wanted ice cream for my nephews that came to visit and Antonio quickly obtained it from a local mini market and brought it to my villa. Should you need or want to go somewhere or need something, it can be arranged but, once there, the last thing I wanted to do was go anywhere else. Surrounded by nature and its beautiful sounds. The pool is absolutely wonderful though adding a handrail at the entrance for older visitors would be helpful. I’m 69 and got by using a cane to steady myself going up the short steps. This is my one and only recommendation for improvement. Security is excellent. I was there by myself and never once felt less than safe. The property is as represented in the photos or better. Special thanks to Antonio, Luz and Hoquin. They were super attentive without being invasive and made my stay so very special with memories that will last forever. In short, if your looking for a loud party or bright city lights this may not be your place. But if you are looking for a place to reconnect with nature, yourself, each other or your soul – you need look no further."

"Paradise in the jungle. From the sights and sounds of the beautiful river below, to all of surrounding tropical plants on and off the property, this place is a must see. Every room in the house is huge with extra high vaulted ceilings and beautiful architeture. Every room can be both indoor and outdoor depending on your choice of how to use your windows. Large openings can be fully open, fully closed or fully screened. That being said, there’s no escaping your jungle adventure here with the exception of well placed ceiling fans and portables provided for you to place where you want them. If you’re like me, you might find yourself spending a little time with a portable right in front of you. There’s a path from the front of the property, straight down to the river if you’d like to cool off more naturally. There’s river rafting, hiking adventures, including a tall mountain waterfall, and lots of other activities near by. For dinner, you will be surprised by the incredible food and drinks with decent prices just a few minutes from the hotel. And breakfast at this b and b won’t disappoint you either. We were served a nice plate of sweet ripe fruit, a cold fruit smoothie, along with a nice traditional breakfast of eggs, toast, refried beans with cream and a couple tortilla chips, right there at a table overlooking the river. You are outside “inside” the entire house and loving every minute of it. The dirt road to this place is included in the adventure and the price. A must see! "

"Beautiful property,walking distance to National park and walking trails.We had a budget room but it was quite spacious with big walk in shower.Good breakfast provided and food in the restaurant was very good and reasonbly priced.Small pool was clean and a comfortable temperature,and lots of hamocks around..Staff is all wonderful."
