Overall, this is a good, quiet small resort to stay at for the enjoyment of really great snorkeling. I don’t think there’s a better place on this whole coast. The rooms were comfortable and clean (Although I didn’t have to ask for a room change and it was taken care of without a problem). Beds are comfortable, linen is good. Air conditioning and Showers work very well. The room is pleasantly furnished. The resort is a bit rough around the edges, And could use some upkeep but it’s not expensive and the food provided is adequate although it could be improved. The management is very pleasant. The owner is a very engaging person. They arranged for my departure to the airport, no problem at a very reasonable cost.
It’s a desolate area and there’s nothing there except the resort. The reef has some nice pockets in it, Not just linear with a fairly shallow sandy bottom, making it more enjoyable. Variety of sea life is good. Sea temperature late April is a bit chilly -a wetsuit or second skin would be advisable. Take mosquito repellent for the evening.
