"I wasn't in Puerto Rico for a vacation. I was there for a difficult family crisis, and Hotel Villa del Sol became a place of comfort after very long days. Aurea at the front desk was exceptional. We arrived early, exhausted from traveling and rental car problems, and she worked her magic to get us into our rooms early so we could shower, rest, and prepare for what was ahead. Throughout our stay, she showed genuine warmth and concern. When I returned after nearly 24 hours at a hospital, she saw how difficult my day had been and asked if we needed anything. When I accidentally left my blazer at checkout, she called me, had it safely waiting in a bag, and even offered me fresh coffee for the ride. Danmar, who cared for my room, was equally wonderful. Every day I returned to a beautifully cleaned room, fresh towels, and a clean bed. During a family crisis, that peaceful room was a gift. She even found money I had dropped, put it safely aside, and told me about it. Her honesty and kindness touched me deeply. The hotel was clean and welcoming, with a lovely pool, fresh coffee, and warm greetings from the staff. It felt like a beautiful hacienda—professional, but filled with genuine warmth. I hugged both women goodbye because they felt like family. Aurea and Danmar, thank you. The people are what I will remember most. This is hospitality. This is warmth. This is my Puerto Rico."

"All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room and the rest of the hotel was incredibly clean and beautiful. The beach was only a few steps away. Beach chairs and an umbrella were provided. Waiters were available for drink or food orders on the beach. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away."
