"Buena Vista is gorgeous! The property is situated in gardens overlooking the Atlantic, catching the rising sun for breakfast and the setting sun highlighting the windmill in the west of the in the evening. The style is local and simple, with an imaginative decor . The hosts greeted us like old friends and arranged a birthday cake for my husband and horse riding up in the mountains. "This house is conveniently placed in Tazacorte. But one needs to be fit to stay there! It is on 4 ‘floors’. The kitchen is almost in a basement with high windows. Excellently supplied but dark. Up is the sitting room and bedroom en-suite. Next the table terrace and best bedroom. But beware the bathroom is not connected and it does rain, even in Tazacorte! "Very spacious. Sunrises were fantastic with a view of the volcano on Tenerife! Maria was very friendly and helpful as far as checking in and helping us find the house as it is off the beaten path a bit. Definitely recommend!"

"Wat een geweldige locatie, en wat een prachtig uitzicht !! In Het huis is van alles voorzien, keukenkastjes ruiken wel muf en is verouderd meerdere terrassen met zwembadje. Zeer rustig gelegen tegen de berg. De eigenaar komt 2x p week het zwembad schoonmaken. Echt een aanrader!"

"House was just as described. Lovely tropical garden with beautiful views. Easy access to Los Llanos, and roads to the caldera and through the tunnel to Santa Cruz. Weather better on this side of the island. We appreciated the bowl of fruit on arrival."

Aber zur Zeit Großbaustelle über mehrere Kilometer an der LP1, also der Straße, die genau unten am Hang vorbei geht. Hier wird der Berg abgetragen. "The new solar panels and solar water heating did not get enough time in the sun to provide hot water and power/heating for winter. The house was very cold, our breath steamed in the mornings. In the evening the inside temperature was frequently only 12C with the heater on. It was also damp, with water running down the inside of the windows every morning and the interior of cupboards smelled musty.
