Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. This is a large and Cabin in a natural habitat so those who want to stay here typically would have different standards than someone who wanted to stay in a tradition. I do both. For this type of experience I’m really enjoyed the atmosphere and the host and all the wildlife and hiking and peace so I highly enjoyed it and recommend it.

Stayed for 4 days in October. All hotel staff was very helpful arranging taxis and places to go.
Breakfast every morning was delicious. Great pool to cool off. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the room was comfortable and clean. Lovely colonial feel and can't beat the location. Had a great time.

The owners are super nice and kind,very helpful with advice or booking trips or any problem that may arise.The property and the rooms are just like the pictures,clean and very beautifully decorated. Quiet and safe neighborhood and walking distance to downtown.The coffee and the breakfast are outstanding! We surely will be coming back here,we stayed six nights and it was beautiful.
