"This place is a gem, beautiful property, great hike, good food, friendly staff. Only downside is an insane policy that you aren't allowed to use the hot tub. You need to book it 2 hours in advance and it costs approx $15CAD per person. As a result it sits there unused in this amazing location or would be such a massive asset of the ownership didn't ruin it by having it be the only per per use hot tub in Colombia. Honestly even with this it's probably worth it. If they fixed that issue this would be one of the nicest places I stayed on my whole trip."

"La Herradura , un lugar perfecto para descansar , integrarse con la naturaleza, su staff es muy amable , servicial , siempre atentos a lo que necesitas , Don Edwin un senor con una simpatia , sentido de servicio , amabilidad y carisma inigualables , lo mismo su esposa que se preocupa por los alimentos que no solo son deliciosos, pero tambien presentados, con muy buen gusto en su decoracion, cuidando cada detalle. "The views are really nice, there aren't a lot of things to do in this hotel after the second day you will be very bored. Very minimal amenities, the whirlpool have heaters but you have to plan ahead as they don't turn them on unless you ask them to. During our last two days a storm knocked down power, and although they have a generator they purposely turn it off at 10 PM which leaves every hotel guest completely in the dark with no power, no internet, and no air. It was very hard to sleep the last two nights as there's no AC in any rooms and the fan did not work. "
