"A lot of the information from the website and other reviews wasn't accurate. There was no food offered, AC units were present but didn't work, difficult to tell who worked there and who was staying there. Stayed in a private room with a fan and private bathroom. Clean/new sheets, bed was fine. Room was pretty dirty, as was the bathroom. Floors look like the haven't been washed in years. The pool outside was very nice, right on the water. They could've used some deck chairs...

"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. "My family of 9 stayed here for a week to celebrate our many May birthdays and were extremely happy with our time here. The house is beautiful and located in a very safe location that’s only a short walk to town. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back and visit El Tunco. The town is very fun and there are plenty of tiendas and restaurants only a 5-10 minute walk away. The house was very nice with working A/C and a great outdoor area.
