"Cozy, quirky old Vedado house right by the Malecon! We stayed in the split-level family room, where the two bedrooms are connected by a spiral staircase. Armando gave us terrific maps and recommendations. The dinners at nearby Casa Mia and Atelier were especially incredible. "A lovely family and house. The area is more residential so a long walk from central Havana but it isn't far from bus stops and still has lots of things to do locally such as Lennon Park. The family offer a lovely home cooked breakfast for 5 CUC if you wish and will book you a taxi if you need one. "

"The host never showed up.. I ended up getting a taxi and sleeping at the airport because I couldn’t get any other room at that time of night. Was trying to check-in at 8:30! Not my favourite situation. "
