Elafonissi will forever be one of the most special beaches to my Fiance and me, as this is where we got engaged in July of 2017!!

This is where you can find pink sand on the beach and clear waters excellent for snorkeling.

TIP: come early or late (1 - 2 hours prior to sunset) as those are the least busy times. This is a very popular tourist destination. There is little shade, so bring an umbrella or a floppy hat. There are several tavernas on the beach if you get hungry!

"The hosts of the Rose Residence went above and beyond for us during our stay in Kissamos. We were greeted by them personally and they had a delicious meal waiting for us. The home itself is beautiful, clean, and in a great location, just a short drive (or even a walk) to the beach and town, with views of the sea. "Spacious, clean apartment. Beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. Very close to beaches. We enjoyed traveling on the ferry to well known Balos Beach. Host was great at communication and easy to work with. This is a great place to access many of the beautiful places in western crete."

La maison est bien placée pour aller à Balos, Falassarna et Elafonissos. On descend aussi à la plage de Kissamos à pied en 15 minutes. Seul bémol : il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle."

"Nice property for the money. We love the town, it's our second time there. The pool was very nice.. the Wi-Fi was adequate, our only complaint was the AC had issues. Bed was good, elevator worked, they have a small parking area, holds five to six cars but parking in the alley seemed fine. The balconies are quite large, we enjoyed sitting out on ours. They don't have pool or beach towels / chairs like some of the other hotels do. But overall, was happy with the stay. I didn't try the breakfast but the lobby / breakfast area is very cute ... Went down by the sea, some fabulous restaurants, we loved Breeze"
