"Pictures of the property don't do justice to this place. We stayed in Cabin 1 and it is beautiful! The cabin has a deck all around with an outdoor dining area, gas grill and private sauna. The main living area has the living room and kitchen and it is beautiful, full of windows up to the ceiling and very spacious. There is also a loft with a futon bed and its own TV. When we turned off the highway, on to the dirt track and it said 12km to go, we knew we were in for something special. The location definitely exceeded our expectations. Right under cliffs and looking out over the heath and completely hidden from the other cabins. On the deck and in the living room, you can see birds flying in and out of the caves on the cliff and hear meadow birds at the same time. The spacious kitchen and dining area made for a splendid cabin cooked dinner. The cabin has two bedrooms and can technically sleep four people, as long as they are couples or small. We used the sofabed as an additional bed to make it comfortable for 4 people."

"Had a nice quiet stay here while starting our tour of the peninsula, operator showed us on a map at check in several sights to check out. Cottage is small but quite comfy. The units are seperate from the wash/cook house, so on a brisk morning it can be a bit chilly, and cause for a quick venture XD"

"All the communication with Heidi and Rob was outstanding.The house was better than we anticipated. We had 10 adults and we all fit very well. The hot tub was so great after long days of exploring and hiking. The house was very modern and well laid out. The week we stayed with them happened to be one of the warmest on record. I contacted the host because the house was very warm at night, they were so kind and brought a couple of fans over which helped. I would highly recommend staying at this property."

"Was hard to find the place to pick up keys then found out after calling that the key was in the house. WiFi password would have been nice to have in the house but great location to watch northern lights, out in middle of nothing and the ocean in the background. "

"Absolutely beautiful to escape from it all. Check in was easy the facilities were super clean. Just make sure to have supplies before you get here because it was a drive to the next town"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "
