"We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the barn. We were welcomed with a variety of snacks and a handwritten note, which was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. There were numerous birds and dragonflies and very few bugs. We saw deer and a rabbit during our stay. We took the Golden Eagle Ferry to St, Charles, MO where we visited the Lewis & Clark Boat House & Museum. We had a nice lunch at Big A’s on Main St. We also enjoyed the soda museum & arcade. Susan was a delightful host and her home was filled with many extras (spices, condiments, extra towels, puzzles, games, etc) that made our stay all the more pleasant."
