"Very nice short stay next the the airport"

"We stayed the night because we had an early morning plane trip. The hotel was wonderful. It's in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful outdoor sitting area and new, modern rooms. The shuttle was excellent and arrived promptly to get us when we arrived and was right on time when we left in the morning. They also provided a ride to a local restaurant on the beach 10 minutes away that I definitely recommend. We had a great dinner there. I definitely recommend the hotel for travelers. "

"Electra Metropolis is a very solid choice in Athens, and I would stay here again, primarily for its excellent location. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Syntagma, making it incredibly easy to walk to most major sites, restaurants, and shopping areas. For a short city break, this level of convenience is hard to beat, and the area also felt very safe, even in the evenings. The room itself was on the smaller side but well designed and functional. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the stay, housekeeping and turndown service were consistently on point, which made a noticeable difference. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were synthetic, which may not suit everyone. One of the highlights is breakfast. The rooftop setting with views of the Acropolis is genuinely special, and the food selection was good with attentive service. It’s a great way to start the day before heading out. Service across the hotel was friendly and efficient, with staff generally helpful and welcoming. Facilities are decent. The gym is located in the basement and is on the smaller side, but sufficient for a quick workout. Very good experience and highly recommended. "

"The breakfast was good, but there were a number of issues in my stay: 1. the AC didnt work in my room 2. this isnt the hotel's fault, but there were too many kids running around in the halllway and throughout the hotel. this must have been a kids field trip. maybe 50-75 kids total. they were running up and down the hallway until like 1-2 am. What is the hotel's problem is they didn't do anything about trying to keep the noise down. 3. Because it was so hot in the room combined with the noise, I got very little sleep every night I think I may have learned my lesson... I should have stayed at more expensive hotel (possibly even a chain hotel) to price out this kind of nonsense."
