"We did a room upgrade, well worth it. Great reception for dogs. Great quality breakfast. Dogs can't come in the breakfast room but table is laid in the bar, which is nice with view over the garden. We like this hotel, bit more expensive but well worth it"

"We arrived early on the train and asked if they would watch our bags until check-in. As it turned out, the room was ready even at 10 a.m.! The room was clean and modern with a large television. The bed was comfortable and had quality pillows. Breakfast was bountiful with many choices. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. "

No restaurant other than for breakfast but there are plenty of options nearby. We were woken at 6 on both mornings by noises (running water one time, something like a boiler firing up on the other occasion) but this is a fairly minor quibble. "
