This place checked all of the boxes for us, including accommodations for the smoker so he didnāt have to keep meandering through the halls to get outside to smoke. So rare these days to find a hotel that still has any dedicated smoking rooms!
Desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in and we found our room easily with her specific instructions. So appreciated...

The room was very spacious and clean. This hotel was extremely quiet and in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here!
I only have one suggestion of hotel staffā¦ please consider putting a large trash can outside in the gazebo area! We among others enjoyed sitting under it to look at the lake and relax, but in the wind lots of things were blowing around loudly that shouldnāt have been thereā¦ mainly about 6 old beer cans.if a trash can is there I think this issue would be less likely š...

We loved staying here! Unfortunately we had a last minute change to our stay but Dana was able to accommodate us and made sure we were taken care of. The room was spacious and we appreciated the tea and coffee service. Super comfortable bed after a long road trip. Very convenient to the Whole Foods and area restaurants. Incredibly quiet room. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a family owned lodge, and yes it feels like home, the owner is always helpful and friendly and run the business with hearts and effort!
Visited there last weekend! During the winter storm, wow it's been a long time since last time I saw this much snow, so fun, but almost got stuck in Tahoe LOL, 50/88/80 were all closed and waited 3 hour to get out.
And yes the experience was exceptional. (isn't S'more in heavy snow exceptional? Dig my car out of snow is so fun)

It's close to shops and convenience stores, for those just-in-case items!
The best Mexican food place in the town, Francisco's, is less than a mile north along the highway.
It was just a lovely time!

Desk is only open from 7am to 9pm. We typically arrive late, so thankfully we got in around 8:30 pm! I get cold seats even now at how close we were to sleeping in our car!

Super comfy beds, kitchenette (which meant that there was an outside the bathroom sink which is my favorite feature on family trips because it keeps the bathroom from getting backed up with a line), neat property, (FREE movie rental and FREE bike rental!). I loved that the property was within walking distance to literally everything! We walked to the state line for the events attended.
The Inn was clean and didnāt have any strong smells like chemicals cleaners or even an old musty smell. I donāt care where I stay so long as the room and bed I sleep in is clean!
I based my decision to stay here on the past reviews of how clean the rooms were. I cannot stress that enough. Nothing worse than a smelly or overpowering smell of cleaners.
