"We so enjoyed the quiet and country atmosphere! We were very surprised at the extra effort this home has to make it comfortable for our stay. And everywhere we looked the home had lovely furnishings! With all the windows, we got to watch the birds! Also, don’t forget the neat hikes close by!"

"I love this cabin and the location. This is a beautiful spot on the river next to the woods. The cabin is clean and cozy and a great place if you’re looking for peace and quiet. I loved sitting out on the porch watching the river. The surroundings are beautiful, the grounds are well kept and very pretty. The beds were fantastic. Very comfortable. There were four of us and the cabin didn’t seem crowded at all. I definitely recommend this place for your visit to this beautiful area."

"The home was perfect for the four of us (two couples) The home was as described and well stocked with towels, beddings, dishes and kitchen supplies. The deck and patio were perfect to relax on after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "
