Spacious Mountain Chalet in the Blue Ridge

Welcome to "glamping!" Check-in to this spacious camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy the hot tub, 32 acres of trails, stunning views from the front porch, fire pit and s'mores bar. The property has two buildings: the lodge with kitchen, entertainment area, dining area (table seats 12 or more), and enormous fireplace. The second building houses 5 bedrooms and 13 beds. The fully stocked kitchen has dinner service for 22
The space
The property is two buildings that are right next to each other. The main building has the views and overlooks the valley. It has several seating areas, dining area, full kitchen, powder room.

The second building is all the bedrooms and they are named for easy reference.
Tall Pines and Sweet River have queen beds and share a bathroom.
Briar Patch has two sets of twins (four beds total) and has a private bathroom. Independence has 3 sets of bunks with a fulls on top and queens on the bottom. There is a large private bathroom in Independence and also a queen sized futon for extra guests.
Administration has a king bed and a private bathroom.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire property, buildings, rooms, trails, etc... except a small owners closet where we keep extra supplies
Other things to note
This is a remote property. There are some quirky things about it. The oven has to be lit by guests - we can't leave it on. There are bugs galore(hey, you are in the mountains) but oddly, no mosquitoes. Sometimes things stop working but we have a property manager down the street who will assist guests with any problems. The views of the sky at night are spectacular and often you can see the milky way with the naked eye.
