"Pros: The property was easy to get to with ample parting. We had a King room and the in-room amenities were nice; plenty of seating and a comfortable bed. The price was average for what we got. There is a good southern type restaurant across the street. Cons: We are senior citizens, 70years plus. Our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator; we had to lug our baggage up the stairs. Although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were a bit on the stiff side; good for some folk but I could not get used to them during our one night stay. The bathroom was clean but small. You had to walk in and turn out of the way to close the door. The shower tub was a little scary stepping out of it. It was somewhat a big drop from the tub to the floor. Grab bars are definitely needed. I am surprised that is not a requirement. The continental breakfast was just that, very 'continental'. We would stay there again if we could get a room on the first floor and the shower had grab bars. Even my wife was nervous stepping out of the tub. For young people, these cons would probable not be an issue."

"The room was Super Clean and quiet, parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. The woman who greeted us at the check-in desk was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a small fridge to keep our soda and water cold and the shower had nearly instantly hot water. We love staying at small, independant places for exactly this reason! The only thing that could have made the stay better is a hair dryer, but since I typically travel with one this wasn't a hardship. Thank you, Elk Inn!"
