Villa Eyrie Resort

10/10 Excellent

"What a beautiful experience at Villa Eyrie. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully done. The setting is absolutely stunning, with incredible views and such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. After a full day at a conference, it was the perfect place to unwind. I treated myself to a spa treatment, enjoyed some quiet time in my room, and truly appreciated having such a beautiful space to relax and recharge. The property itself is gorgeous, the surroundings are spectacular, and the whole experience felt like a little escape without having to travel far from home. I would absolutely stay at Villa Eyrie again and would highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway, special occasion, or simply a chance to slow down and enjoy a beautiful part of Vancouver Island. A truly lovely stay. ❤️"

Mount Finlayson View Villa

8/10 Good

"The house is lovely and in a beautiful development with wonderful views. Very quiet neighborhood and enough parking for five cars. Golf and hiking in the vicinity and a nice restaurant at the Westin Hotel, a ten minute walk away.Kitchen nicely equipped. Three of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The door to the deck was broken, so the only way to use the deck was to go through one of the couple's bedroom, awkward. The second kitchen had a plugged sink when we arrived until we checked out, The stairs down to the third deck from the lower level had not been cleaned of all the bobcat scat in a long time. It was a lot and difficult to avoid. There are two Yale key code pads. One at the front door and one on the backdoor on the lower level. We assumed that they both would have the same code, wrong, and so we were locked out down stairs and had to get our way to the front door in the dark. The agent insisted that no shoes be worn in the house. They should provide disposable slippers or at least told us in advance so we could have brought our own house shoes or slippers."

Bear Mountain getaway

10/10 Excellent

"This was our second time staying at Bear Mountain Get-Away. We were not disappointed as our second stay was as wonderful as the first. This well appointed suite provides luxurious comfort in a completely private location. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We love sitting outside in the evenings and the hosts have thought of everything - regardless of rain or shine!"

The Tree House - Luxury Carriage House at Shawnigan Lake

10/10 Excellent

"Very lovely clean place, well stocked with everything you might need. Owners are very helpful and check in easy. Reasonably priced. You definitely need a car as it is out of town and grocery store is a bit of a drive"
