Hidden Gem

A nice hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the French chef who was lovely. The food was very nice and the reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Entirely constructive criticism, the hotel itself inside is in generally good condition but the exterior of the building and the car park could do with a lick of paint and bit of general tidy up just to bring it all into balance. I would certainly stay again.

I stayed here the night before I ran an ultra marathon so was after a peaceful nights sleep. The hotel didn’t disappoint, very comfy bed with quiet country surroundings and very clean facilities. Only negative is lack of shops nearby.

Lovely hotel situated close to a nearby wedding venue that we were attending. We were given a suite which was absolutely spot on, clean, spacious and conveniently right at the top of the staircase meaning no wandering around looking for our room. Property is located in a lovely area bar the camp of caravans located right next to it. They had music playing very loud long into the night. Property could definitely do with some new mattresses and the breakfast was not great at all and left a lot to be desired for the price.
