"Without a doubt the 2nd Wind is the BEST Vrbo we had stayed in. Frank and Linda will make you feel right at home. They live next door and make themselves available for anything. Frank even brought out some of the best tasting brisket I've had. The views from the back porch are beautiful at sunset. The area is quiet and relaxing. Coming from West Texas, it was nice to have some real trees and a beautiful lake to enjoy. Frank and Linda really care about their place and their guests. We had special baked good treats and treats for our dogs waiting for us. Our dogs even enjoyed the wonderful change of scenery."

"This was perfect for our girls getaway. We enjoyed the space- the large windows and view for rainy times and cloud watching, the patio with firepit and table with great umbrella and the short walk down to the boathouse. The table and chairs at the boathouse have been replaced with picnic tables but we just sat on the deck. The stairs were a bit challenging to get all our stuff up to the main level but once we did we were fine. The loft stairs were not usable for us older gals- very steep. The whole house water filter was great and there was a bag of ice left in the freezer. We had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful catch up time. Thank you Brent!"

The inside is a different story. the stairs are a danger to everyone. to get to the back bedroom upstairs you have to go through the first bedroom! "Although they may have been clean, the sheets were old and had stains. The bathroom appwaredclean, but the ceiling had damage from previous leak appeared to be dry but also had black mold on the waterstain spot of the ceiling."
