"We went there with 19 persons. A wonderful place on the top of a hill so always a nice breeze despite some hot summer days. A bunch of place to be and spread out. Well equipped kitchen to cook for a big group. Nice midsize Pool. The Check-in was quite tricky because the coworker of the Host spoke italian only. "We have visited Tuscany with our kids multiple times and always had nice Agritourismo appartments but this one was special.Walking distance to a small village with shop and supermarket, close to tourist attractions like Val d'Orcia, Montalcino, Montepulcano and others. Vivo d'Orcia is cooler than the surrounding Tuscany because it is higher and closer to the woods. This gives the stay a nice climate. The stone houses stay cool. "Our stay at Hortulanus will be forever etched in our memories as one of the greatest in Italy! The views from the property are just breathtaking.
