"It was perfect for my friend and I for the week. We had a suite with a queen bed bedroom and a queen sized pull out sofa. Kitchen has all essentials. There was a shop on the adjacent corner and a park with outside cafe across the street. We could walk to the beach, shopping district, and loads of places to end in 15 mins or less. La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. "We stayed a week at a Helgafell suite in the beginning of November. The suite was in two floors with a sundeck on roof. Modern interior, 2 BR, 2 bath and one toilet. The house in located in the Allegra gated community, pools in the area (not heated). Everything worked well, friendly and helpful host. Parking in the community area and street parking available. Good internet. Grocery stores within walking distance, restaurants, pubs and other stores in the town."
