"You can't get a better value. The price was similar to what you'd pay for a super low end room at a motel in a city, and yet this experience puts you at the height of luxury. You can really imagine what it would be like to be rich after retiring to the country. Property to wander, extremely low light pollution and dark sky conditions, high end appliances, extremely comfortable bed. I don't know if they mention it in the listing but they even have one of those fancy artificial fireplaces. You can hook up your bluetooth to speakers inside the hot tub and it has RGB lights. They also have these cute string lights around the whole back deck and fire pit area. They thought of everything. You can tell they've been at this for a while and have nailed down how to make everything go smooth and perfect. The host had a high touch but out of the way approach. What I mean is, every time I might have needed to contact them about something, they seemed to preempt this and reach out first. However, I never actually had to interact with a single human being in person during the whole trip. We literally showed up, used the door code they gave us, followed the few simple instructions they left, and got right into enjoying our stay. Super relaxing, its a great spot."

"If you haven't been to Macos Mountain, you don't know what your missing! We have stayed at 2 of his cabins now, and can't wait to visit again. The pictures do not do the property justice. I honestly can't explain how beautiful the cabin and view are. Communication with the owner is top notch. Be sure to consider buying a tshirt. When he delivers them, he can tell you about the property and surroundings. We enjoyed talking to him. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub or out by the fire pit and breathing in fresh air and looking at the mountains. We had daily visits from wild turkeys, deer and white tail rabbits. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved it! She was upset that we had to leave. She also became a champ at Ping Pong - she insists we buy a table...lol. If I could have stayed there the whole summer I would have! We got our exercise just by walking up and down the lane in the gated area. It'll give you a nice workout. There's a treadmill there, but nothing beats fresh air! I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with this property!"
