"Just came back from our 7 day stay at de Silva Palm Resort. It‘s a very nice resort with lots of open space and big palms trees. The rooms were clean and well kept. Our family suite even had a fridge and kettle. The pool is spacious, our kids loved it. Whenever we showed up we were handed fresh beach towels, Overall the service was great: Naveen the restaurant manager is there for you with tipps and advice (even in really good German), the barkeeper is very friendly and so is the kiting staff....

Tatum Villas Villa is a beautiful new lodge, 5-stars for a reason. The staff are all lovely and extremely eager to please; rooms spacious, gorgeous, and private; and food very good. My only quibble was that rains had flooded the road into the nearby entrance of the Wilpattu park, so doing a safari drive involves a 1.5 hr ride to the eastern park entrance, which kind of defeats the purpose of staying on the quieter western edge. Still a beautiful place to stay, though.

We loved this accommodation. It was the best of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is unique, new and spotless clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful with anything we required, and the location was perfect. If you want to experience holidaying in a village, then this is the place. Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place!
