"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.

"Very clean and had most things we needed. Bed was really comfy and the view was beautiful. Only slight issue was that the underfloor heating was quite noisy, especially at night but it didn’t really affect our stay, just took a while to get used to."

"A lovely little Cottage to stay in, it was well situated for reaching all the main coastal areas with ease. We really enjoyed our stay thanks. One little point in which we felt was needed. A simple pint of milk as a kind gesture in the fridge as must have. A cuppa was needed after a very long journey. Other than that it was suitably accommodating.Thank you."

"As soon as we arrived, it was pretty clear where we needed to go to check in. We were in awe with the place, such detail and characteristics. We would definitely recommend visiting Newton Hall for its bar and with reception inside that was 24hours, there was always someone on hand for any questions you may have had.
The room/ cabin itself was pretty nice and had all essentials you need to store milk in little fridge or make a brew. The room and the bathroom were very clean and loved the attention to detail with charm and character. You could even buy a s’mores kit while using a small safe fire outside which we did under a blanket of stars. The place was local to seaside, some cafes and restaurants and food is delicious. If you are driving I’d recommend the tourist places like Alnwick and seaside for fish and chips. Food can buy pricey though in your typical tourist hotspots so be mindful of this. If staying at the cabin bit, there are nice walks and wildlife surrounding the area which is nice to see, hot tubs are a must if relaxing and the staff are very friendly and helpful if needed. After the amazing experience we had, we’d definitely go back and explore other areas in Northumberland."
"Great place to stay about 10 minutes work to the centre. Parking is a big bonus👍 Breakfast was great with good choices. Friendly place. Didn't use the bar, but looks great with beer garden."
"The property is in a lovely setting and as the sun was shining we enjoyed an evening glass of wine on the patio looking over the gardens and tipi. The restaurant, public areas and the bedrooms were all pristine and food of a great standard, when in the area we would definitely stay again."
"We loved to stay at Hillcrest bed-and-breakfast it’s absolutely amazing place few steps away from Bamburgh Castle. The stuff was caring and responding to every our need or questions. Breakfast is excellent at this place every morning freshly cooked classic British breakfast."
