"The rooms and common areas were quite clean. The parking lot was well policed and maintained. Breakfast was solid each morning (I stayed four days and ate breakfast every day in the hotel).
The location of this hotel is fantastic for exploring the bay area. You can get around by car super easy. But you can also take the Emeryville people-mover-bus (not sure the name) to the MacArthur BART station and then work from there. We drove into the City and Oakland a couple of days, and took BART and other public transit other days. It was a great experience for the whole family.
