"My family and I spent a great weekend at this cozy cabin on Davos, and it was perfect. The host was super communicative with clear instructions. As our stay came on the heels of a blizzard, I was impressed with how quickly they could shovel out the entrance and all. The place was warm and welcoming, and as we had our dog, he loved the basket of toys to paw through. I’d definitely stay here again."

"My daughters, 11 & 14, and I enjoyed watching the river rush by from the kitchen and sitting area in the quaint cabin. Plenty of light, a cozy loft, and a kitchen with amenities made it a perfect base camp for our spring ski trip."

"Overall this was a great house for a weekend trip to the snow. Plenty of space and beds, as well as amazing views. We were an easy drive to Tahoe Donner for skiing, as well as Truckee for restaurants, etc. My feedback would to bring anything you might need for cooking that isn't the appliance or cookware (including oils, condiments, coffee/tea, etc.). Also, do not park in the driveway during the winter. Luckily we didn't, because the plow never came and we would have been stuck."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Capone Getaway. This 5 bedroom/3 bathroom house plus a loft provided plenty of space for our family gathering. The kitchen is filled with everything we needed plus some. The location was perfect for us in Soda Springs. A few drawbacks were: (1) The cabin entry was very icy so we had to remove and de-ice the iced over rubber mats before our family arrived so no one would slip getting into the cabin; (2) Some of the beds were too soft and pillows should be...

"My friends and I had a lovely stay here! Place was spacious, and we enjoyed the games provided. Only comment is that the driveway was a bit steep - making it difficult to pull up our cars in the snow (even with all wheel/4-wheel drive)."
