"After booking l found alot of negative reviews, happily it wasn't too bad. the island accommodation all seems to be in need of some TLC. I chooser this place as it had water views in case the weather wasn't good while we were there and we;d have something to look at. The windows we disgusting and it was difficult to see out, the second reason was it had a BBQ- however there was no BBQ and you couldn't use the oven it hadn't been cleaned for sometime and obviously because there was no BBQ it had...

"This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly."

View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day."

"We loved staying at this property - so close to everything - and comfortable. A real home away from home. The only thing I would recommend is to provide extra towels. There were only one set for the week for us. I know we could have washed them - but we were on holiday! Who wants to do laundry?! Other than that, loved it!!"

"I booked this house in the first week of school holidays for my children and their families to stay. A big family holiday. House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience...

"Excellent accommodation, comfortable spacious house in a peaceful quiet location. Very well set up. Close to Kingscote, 15 minute drive and central location, easy drive to most sights on KI. Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue."
