"I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."

It was difficult to get hold of the host (he replied to a phone call 23 hours afterwards). I am very frustrated that I can’t seem to find a phone number to speak to a representative about this"

The location was perfect for us to hike both in the Snowy Range and Sierra Madre recreation areas. The town of Saratoga was very close which allowed for easy access for groceries.
