"This home had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for a long weekend by the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, the yard has a swing and lots of birds, and the fire pit made the nights sooo relaxing. The property is a short walk away from the local campground- we rented a pontoon from them and had a great time on the lake. This place is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. 100 stars!!! "

"Our stay was wonderful! Room was clean, very comfortable bed,cozy interior of room. Outside of property was so beautiful, calming walk around outside by the pond. We recommend staying here 10/10. Shipshewana itself is a very welcoming place. We will most definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"What a wonderful stay at this lake house. We traveled in for our annual trip that includes six adults and four children. There was so much to do - from the pontoon boat to the pool to the hot tub. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed every single minute of it. Also, the communication was great. If we had a question - it was answered immediately. Neighbors also stopped by daily to check on the pool and hot tub. Top tier service!"

"We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. Breakfast was not very good on Saturday but Sunday they had biscuits and gravy that were very good. Staff was very pleasant and answered our questions promptly and with a smile. Rooms were clean and comfy. Did not use the pool or fitness room so can't comment on that."
