The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. "Loved our stay at the crescent. Growing up I saw this building be renovated to its glory and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful luxury rooms with robes in the room big walk in shower and bath. Spa is peaceful and nice addition for the extra cost which compared to a day spa is great price. Breakfast was quite busy but the server was really helpful and sorted my gluten free breakfast and brought toast too without me even asking which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a bit of luxury for a stay in Buxton but it’s not overly posh. Great location for exploring Peak District or visiting the theatre in Buxton."
