Newgrange Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our family stay at the Newgrange Hotel. The location in Navan was excellent. I arrived well before check-in and they were very accommodating, holding my luggage for me. The staff was very polite, kind and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent - there were many options, eggs (real ones), ham, beans, cereal, bread/toast, juice, fruit and even some gluten free options. The parking was very convenient- free and connected to the hotel. The room and facilities was very clean, the only very very small minor criticism was that the bathroom showed a little wear. But that is not really worth considering another place over. I would gladly stay here again."

"Internet was good. Breakfast is the basic and not worth paying extra. We tried the lunch and it was good. The manager was not friendly and watching her interact with staff I was able to see why the staff never smiled due to the way she was talking to them. A 4 night stay and ate breakfast once. The pub food was better and eaten there once. The staff were very friendly in the pub. Our Housekeeper was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean but outdated. The location was convenient to highways and nearby towns. "
