The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and freshly prepared foods. Great touches like the ginger shots and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff were very friendly and there’s a really easy going atmosphere. Location is great as right by the train station and near the town but also within walking distance to the ski lifts.

The Ski Lodge is awesome! The location is amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the bar and restaurant on-site is so good! Frederick at the bar is cool and loves to play Carcassonne. We always love coming here when we are in Engelberg, do yourself a favor and book it now!

This place is just far than amazing, is 1min walking from the train station and they are all great staff. The attention was perfect and they were so considerate with our doubts, food is amazing and they even plan quiz nights, activities, etc. Would have loved to stay longer!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We mainly wanted to explore Mount Titlis and this hotel is a 10 minute walk from there. The hotel has really beautiful views of the mountains. The restaurant and breakfast they have was also quite good! The hotel also has a lot of restaurants and bars around. The are also plenty of shops around. Caroline helped us out a lot during our stay and if it wasn’t for her, we would have a much more difficult time during our stay!

Most creakiest floors

The most the creakiest floors throughout the hotel. Constant creaking on every step does not add comfort. The staff was more pleased with Swedish-speaking guests and other customers received significantly less attention. Breakfast was really simple. The best thing in Ski Lodge is it´s location.

Great Ski Lodge.

Hotel is right next to the train station and centrally located between town and the Titlis lift. The included breakfast was a great value add. Nice variety. Dinner was good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. Room was appropriate and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Amazing boutique hotel!

Amazingly cute hotel in Engelberg. Fantastic location 50 m from the train station, ample parking for guests cars, convenient walk distance from ski lifts. The views are great, rooms very well designed with great smart solutions. Staff is really great and friendly, and they to the extra mile for their guests.

Everything about this place was great. The location was within walking distance of the train station and the Titlis cable car. The room was clean. The views were unmatched. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff went above and beyond. They were all very friendly. The breakfast was great. There is a path right behind the Inn that goes to the mountain. A short walk away. The train station is right across the street, however we never heard anything. We can’t say enough good things about this place, its staff, and its location.

Very small room , no space for suitcases. I am 5 feet 6 inch skinny person . I was cramped in shower . Not sure how anyone with little more height and width can fit in shower. Breakfast was ok. Nobody bother to even greet us . Only reception girl was nice . She said she was American . Not sure Swiss people are racist or rude , zero customer service. Location was pretty close to train station which was good. No elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs

The location is so convenient. Literally steps to the train station and the gondola. The staff was so friendly and helpful with hiking and dining recs. We had a corner room and it was a good size. Unfortunately it was two twin beds pushed together which is really just awful and uncomfortable. It was hot (90’s) while we were there. I couldn’t wait to open windows and get a cross breeze at night. What we didn’t know ahead of time is that the really beautiful, outdoor bar/restaurant is a big party spot. One night there was live music until 10:00pm, another night there was a party, and the third night just a huge crowd. It stayed open until 11:00 pm all nights. Our room (the front of the hotel with beautiful views) overlooked the bar. It was so loud that we could not leave the windows open. We had big hikes planned every day and wanted to get a good nights sleep and get up early. It’s a tough call-great room, gorgeous views, delicious breakfast but not relaxing.

Breakfast buffet selection was excellent. Cleanliness of room was very good. Staff were polite. Hot tub and sauna a bonus but busy from mid afternoon. Storage space for 4 people (quad room) was limited but manageable.
