"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

"Fantastic place with large secure garden. We didn’t travel as much as expected because we had trouble dragging the kids out of the pool / away from the games barn. When we did the nearby lake with canoeing, beach and play park was great. Very eclectic location - not luxurious but really well equipped for a self catering family. "

"Lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped for a family for two weeks near to climbing areas. Fireplace with a good supply of firewood very welcome for chilly spring evenings. Very helpful and friendly host, tolerant of my limited french language skills! We would recommend and definitely stay again."

"Zuerst einmal: das Haus ist nicht blau, das sieht nur auf den Bildern so aus! Dann haben wir das Objekt leider nur von aussen betrachten können, da der Vermieter uns erst mal 550km hin fahren ließ, um uns dann keinen Schlüsselcode zu geben. Er hat die Buchung eine Stunde nach(!) der vereinbarten Check-In Zeit storniert!Das ganze Gelände um das Haus herum war verdreckt und überall waren Überwachungskameras installiert. Ich hoffe, FeWo Direkt löscht dieses Angebot, fahrt da auf keinen Fall hin!"

It has some good facilities, such as a private heated pool, and there is plenty to keep the family occupied.But:The listing is incorrect. It is not self check-in but you are met by a host. The instructions you are repeatedly sent by the concierge service do not correspond with this process. The...

"The Rose house is a terrific place for a climbing trip with family. Great centrally located spot close to Trois Pignons, the Franchard, Apremont and Beauvais. The house itself has a great layout if people want their own space. The sun room upstairs was a favorite of ours."

"Belle propriété dans un bel environnement, grandes pièces bien chauffées, propres, cuisine bien équipée, le tout correspondant au descriptif . Au calme mais à proximité de ce que nous voulions voir ( Chartres, Fontainebleau…). Excellent accueil par le régisseur, discret mais toujours disponible. Nous recommandons ce séjour."
