Lazy Days beach cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home that is just 120 steps from the Gulf of Mexico. The home is well-stocked and ideally located between the public beach and Stump Pass State Park on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. Stumpy’s “free golf cart ride” stops at the home for island transportation.

"Tarpon Capital of the World". This area is the state's second largest marine estuary, species making it one of the best places to fish in Florida.

Discover the wonders of Stump Pass Park, where you can explore 265 acres of sandy trails, boating, and pristine beaches. Encounter diverse wildlife including herons, pelicans, and dolphins. Don't miss the sea turtle nests coming alive with hatchlings from May 1 to October 31.

Fossilized shark's teeth are a favorite find for beachcombers, and you'll find many among the shells. Snorkel in the clear water for sand dollars and tropical treasures. Set up your umbrella and enjoy peaceful sunsets undisturbed, away from the public beach.

Perfect Staycation!

We wanted a local getaway and this home has an excellent location, was clean, and the owners were lovely. Highly recommend to any Floridians wanting to "escape" to the beach for a few days!

Very nice place

Only spent a couple of nights, but it was wonderful. Accommodations were very nice. Great location for beach access. Had beach gear. Outside shower for rinsing off.Quiet area even though it was on Main Street.

Perfect dog friendly get away!

This place is nicely done! Everything you need is there….just bring a swimsuit! There is plenty of sidewalk to walk the dogs and see the island. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous!

My BBF of many years and I had a weekend girl's trip and it could not have been better. The house is so nice, beautifully decorated and well stocked! It was a huge plus to have comfy beach chairs and beach towels. As we all know, those can't travel easily when flying. Loved our morning walks to the beach to enjoy our coffee. It really is just a short stroll. The beach was lovely and uncrowded and we spent most of our time there. It was so great to be able to walk back and forth to enjoy the beach. The beds were sooo comfy! Would definitely love to come back!

Amazing house NEAR the beach!!!

The house has everyhing you need to spend a few days enjoying paradise!!! Great location within walking distance of restaurants and nightlife. The nearby beach is amazing!!! We are looking to come back again!!!

Location is great. Close to the beach, Stump Pass Park, and walking distance to beach yoga.

House had most everything we needed. Outdoor seating is lovely. Slept 6 and 8 for meals comfortably.

Location, location, location

We loved staying at your property. Everything was updated, comfortable and felt like a home. The location was perfect. The beach is right there. Plus, the Sand Bar is so close, it was a quick and easy walk up the street. Even if you don’t want to walk, you can always hop a right on Stumpy’s Free ride.

Two words, Loved It

My husband and I stayed here last year and we loved it so much we wanted to rent it again. It’s very clean, comfortable bed, and everything you need from kitchen items to toiletries. Everything was taken care of We highly recommend the unit and we will be renting it again in the future.

They thought of everything.

This place is one of the most clean, nicest places I have stayed on a beach vacation. From talking to hosts before the visit to the time we left, everything was wonderful! The house smelled clean. Like the smell you want in your house when your mom does a surprise drop in. The floors were beautiful, I could walk around the house and my feet stayed clean. The house was open and bright. The beds were delightfully comfy. Plenty of pillows. Everything was great. The kitchen was labeled. Everything had a label. I knew where everything was. No need to play Clue when looking for your silverware or trash bags. Also, you know how some places expect you to survive with a half a roll of paper towels and 7 squares of toilet paper for your stay? Not here. Everything was exactly as you needed it. The walk to the beach was exactly 120 steps. Yes, I counted. I couldn't resist. Driveway to sand, 120 leisurely steps. Take the beach cart. Trust me. Stay here. Breathe deep. Watch the sunsets. You deserve it.

It really does have it al!

This property is everything advertised and more. When they say they have everything you need they mean it. No need to bring beach chairs, beach towels or toys. Everything about the place is homey and comfortable. Dan and Linda are very friendly hosts and respond to your inquiries immediately. There is also ample parking for a boat or multiple vehicles. The location is absolutely perfect. You are just steps from the beach and within walking distance to the bars and restaurants. We had such a good time and will definitely be back.

Wonder home, fully stocked

This house has literally everything you need . Just bring your clothes and any personal items you need. The home had plenty of beach and bath towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper. For the beach there were beach chairs, toys, boards, floats, ect.... There was even some sun care items. We loved the area and are looking at booking again in the fall/winter.

Perfect Location

Our family enjoyed our stay at Lazy Days and the beach was soooo nice! We hunted for shark’s teeth and founds tons of shells. Love that anything you’d need for the beach was included and the bikes were awesome. Be sure to utilize the free shuttle. There’s a stop right outside the door. Just call and they will take you anywhere, especially if you want to go to Stump Pass but don’t care to get up early to get a parking spot. Be sure to make a reservation at Farlows on the Water, you’ll thank me later!

Great place with everything you need

This is the 4th place we have stayed in Manasota Key and by far was our favorite!!! We loved the availability of the kayaks and bikes - just wish we could have used them more. Location was perfect! Homeowners provided a lot of things others don't provide - lots of beach towels, chairs and other beach supplies, shampoo/soap, laundry detergent, etc. They even had games and puzzles to use when the weather didn't cooperate. They also didn't have a whole list of things to do when we left - they told us to just enjoy our time there. We will definitely be back when we head back to Manasota Key!

Conscientious

The owners have thoroughly prepared the property for guests. It was clean and nice. All the amenities lent themselves to guests who are flying in for vacation and they don't have to go buy soap, shampoo, tin foil, coffee, sunscreen, etc. When it relates to beach activities, you have bikes, kayaks, coolers, carts to haul stuff the the beach, chairs, fire pit, grill, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, and more things that I probably did not use. Overall, excellent value, excellent location, excellent hosts, and excellent stay. Thanks!

A Hidden Paradise

An outstanding find. We spent 8 relaxing, fun-filled days at Dan and Linda's Lazy Days. The house is not even 50 yards from a wonderful, uncrowded beach - a shell collector's dream. Dan and Linda aren't kidding when they say that they provide everything except groceries. We had the pleasure of meeting Linda during our stay. She is a gold mine of information about the area. There was a very minor problem and Linda responded right away. If you're looking for a clean, well-kept, quiet, worry-free, pleasant place to stay, this is it. We're already booked for next year!

Best Beach Cottage!

Check-in was an ease! Debbie was very helpful and called early on the day of check-in to let us know this house was ready whenever we wanted to check-in. We literally had everything we needed! The bikes were a huge hit for our teenage daughters. We had a new grill and the umbrella for the outside dining was wonderful! We were able to shower off after the beach in the outside shower with hot & cold water. Previous reviews mention the beach issue with a particular house. We simply followed the signs posted on the beach to ensure we did "trespass" on her property. We had no problems. We will be back for sure! This was perfect for our family and having our local family come to visit us during the day.
