Our neat and tidy Kottage on the Key is a practically new guest house on Lemon Bay just steps from our private beach perfect for 1 or 2 people. Located on a private road, this bungalow offers a relaxing getaway with access to the bay or the beach. Bring your kayak to put in at our private launch . Pets are welcome too! Manasota Key offers an "Old Florida" experience with no hi-rises and limited traffic. There are no traffic lights on this hidden gem of an island. There are five restaurants on Manasota Key including casual waterfront Tiki Bar dining and more formal dining with spectacular Gulf views. Manasota Key is primarily residential. In addition to restaurants, the commercial on this quaint Key includes a convenience store, gift shop, boat and kayak rentals, bait store and take out pizza. Across the bridge on the mainland there are many easily accessible pharmacies, department stores, supermarkets, fast food, office supply and many other conveniences.

Manasota Key beaches are known for their abundance of tropical shells and sharks' teeth. Our beach is back!! The beach nourishment project is finished and we now have a beach bigger than we've ever had!

Our cleaning staff has taken extra measures to make sure our place is clean and disinfected for our guests.

Well behaved pets welcome to stay for additional fee. One average size pet. Possibly two small pets but please inquire first before reserving. $20. per night pet fee.

Peaceful location

We had a great stay! Everything was just as listed in VRBO, direct beach access across the street, manatees every evening on the bay side and so quiet and peaceful day and night! Communication was amazing for check in/out and also quick responses with any questions we had. The cottage itself was nicer than expected and plenty of space for 2 ppl.

Quiet haven

Perfect Getaway

The property was perfect for us. Loved the layout and easy access to the kayak launch and to the beach. Neighborhood was really quiet. We hadn't gotten away for a while and it was such a relaxing stay. Perfect weather, perfect accommodations, great kayaking and beach time. We loved it.

The small apartment was perfect for 2. It has everything you need. Just a quick short walk to the beautiful beach. Always love Manasota Key. Had pretty crummy weather but still a nice vacation.

Kozy on the Key

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kozy Kottsge. It is the perfect, little, couples retreat nestled into a great beach area. Manasota and the surrounding areas have so much to offer in beaches, recreation and restaurants. After a hot day playing on the beach, you can relax on the lanai in the shade and watch the wildlife in Lemon Bay. The hosts were also some of the nicest we have seen in our travels.

Great place

The cottage looks brand new.It's ver close to the most wonderful beach. It's a private beach so there is very little people and we watch incredible sunsets.As a big bonus we also got to watch the sunrise from the kitchen window and the out balcony.We enjoy this place so much.The owners are very nice people also.i highly recommend this place.

Perfect little cottage

This place was clean, situated perfectly for us. We could easily walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella provided for us. Restaurants all within a mile. Everything youd need for a relaxing vacation...very quiet neighborhood. We'll be back!

Perfect clean Kottage!

We have been to Manasota Key previously and our friends are located north of the property. The "kottage" is perfect for a couple. Clean and conveniently located to all Manasota Key amenities! Communication was excellent. Look forward to staying again.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

This really was the perfect beach get away! Brand new accommodations, close to the beach with inter-coastal access from the property to launch our kayaks! Anything we needed, the Kelly's were quick to take care of! Too bad Hurricane Irma forced us to leave after just 1 day into our vacation :-( . But we will be back!

Awesome getaway

Enjoyed our week at this cute little cottage. Perfect for the two of us, a short walk to the beach where we saw dolphin and manatee swim by. Shelling, shark teeth hunting, fishing and snorkeling made for a perfect week. The A/C kept us cool on those thick humid days. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week. Highly recommended.
