New, fresh hotel

New, fresh hotel with helpful and friendly staff at a great location. Good dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Comfortable bed. Only minus are the flat pillows.

Amazing place to stay

The view was awesome, but the staff was better. One of my first experiences in the snow and it was unforgettable. Perfect view of the snowfall from a full window wall. The forest looked like a winter wonderland. Best part i was able view the Borealis lights from my room! No need to venture out. Oh yes, the room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast is included! Do have a couple restaurants down the hill.

Overall I liked this one. Rooms were nicely decorated with big windows towards the mountain, location is very convenient in relation to services at Kilpisjärvi and staff friendly. Beds were comfortable, though my personal preference would be a down pillow + I wouldn't mind a bit higher quality rain shower head... both relatively minor things. Also liked the breakfast in general, though was fairly standard good quality 4-star hotel type. Therefore perhaps specialty coffee options and some additions / finishing touches could elevate the experience a bit further.

Huoneistot ulkoapäin siistejä. Sisältä aikas vanhat. Jostain repsotti listaa, yksi ikkuna oli halki, uunin kanssa oli haasteita kun säätökiekko ei toiminut. Portaat narisi niin että yöllä heräsi aina joku vaikka kuinka hiipi vessaan hipi hiljaa. Terassin kalusteet oli rikki. Makuuhuoneiden ikkunoista puuttui verhot. Ensimmäisen aamun aamupala oli suht hyvä. Kahtena seuraavana moni ruoka loppui kesken. Hintaan nähden huono verrattuna tämän reissun muihin majoituksiin.
