"While I do not particularly like Kawayan's check-in procedures, everything else was pleasurable. The staff were polite, helpful and accommodating. The entire property was clean, secure, serene and offers a wonderful view of the ocean. I was glad we didn't have to request cleaning of our villa. Their housekeeping attendants do this every single day. Food tasted good, too. I love how they receive guests with a welcome drink, cold towel and a complimentary water tumbler. And because we need to check out early to catch the 820am ferry to Bohol, I highly appreciated that sandwiches were offered instead of the usual breakfast. I was even happier to receive these in insulated sandwich bags, yay! It was certainly worth coming back. Thank you, Kawayan Holiday Resort! "

"This property turned out to a joy. Without exception, the staff were cheerful, helpful and kind. They are led by the owner, a jolly Swiss man who built the resort from scratch. The rooms are huge, with nice bathrooms and decorations. (My only niggle is that the shower was lukewarm at best.) The meals in the restaurant were carefully prepared and very tasty. I would heartily recommend it for a stay that is away from it all and different than most resort. "

"Excellent place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day of adventure around the island. Management and staff are very accommodating with motorcycles for rent onsite. The property is surrounded with plenty of trees and flowers making it a lot easier to “tambay” outside on hot days. Also free pick up and drop off at the port makes it all the more convenient for visitors. Highly recommended!"

"Although I knew of the construction going on, I still enjoyed my stay aside from the noise. I'm ready to plan for next year. I will be returning when the pool is finished. Loved the availability of the scooters. Took them out daily. The sun, the trees, the beaches, the convenience of them all made it an experience I wil always remeber. Thanks"

"Such an amazing hotel very accommodating to our needs. Offered to rent us a scooter for a couple days. Had a beautiful restaurant in the hotel. Right on the beach. Clean rooms and pool. 10/10 would recommend"

"Nothing. It's terrible. I can't underdtand why EXPEDIA keep this place in your site. I didn't stay more than 10 mins. We left because of the terrible smell and condition of the rooms. I paid for 2 nights in this terrible place but abandoned it and went to a much much better hotel for a lesser price. "
