Great staff, restaurant and location. There was some construction going on that would limit access to the Alpine Lodge where we stayed but overall we had a pleasant stay...
Check-in was easy, and staff was courteous and helpful! Construction in front of the hotel and no helpful signs to get you inside. Restaurant was great! Room was small and beds were awful - uncomfortable and noisy.
Liked everything. Very picturesque. The staff at the front desk went out of their way to accomodate us when we arrived early by putting us in another room at no extra cost.

The staff are very welcoming and makes sure we enjoy your stay
Amazing location if you are skiing at Crystal Mountain. You get a nice parking spot as a hotel guest and you can just walk to the ski lifts from there. The room is simple but cozy with retro vibes and the staff are friendly. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant at Alpine Inn. The hotel has three separate buildings. Regardless of which building your room is located, you can walk to the resort. We will stay there again when we go to Crystal Mountain for skiing.

Location was great. Rooms are very outdated and small. Light on wall by bed would strobe off and on and other light by bed didn't even have a bulb. Shower did have good pressure but no hair conditioner. I guess you get what you pay for.
We arrive between seasons. After ski, before summer. Hardly saw anyone, guests or staff. I’m thinking we were about the only ones there. No staffed office that I saw. A key with instructions was left at check in. Rooms and beds… great. Down comforter, great pillows, nice mattress. Wasn’t much for continental breakfast. At 9:00 AM, nothing. Kurig coffee. I’m fine with that. The day after we leave the gondola should be running, passes open, visitor centers at Rainier should be open. Hotel could be a much more different “on” season. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

Pros:
The staff at this property are amazing. They were so kind to help me out with a medical emergency which delayed my trip and very responsive. When we checked in they were friendly and responsive and literally made our trip magical with their great advice and suggestions of hikes to do in the area and how best to plan our time and logistics. They are sweet and friendly people, very kind and caring. The property location is fantastic with easy parking. There was an unexpected perk of a DVD player in the room and DVD library which was really fun and nostalgic! The bed, linens and towels were basic but clean and comfortable.
Cons:
The property itself is older and fairly rundown. Things like light fixtures in the bathroom and bedroom didn't work, the toilet seat was coming off and generally the room had a musty smell. Also if you are sensitive to noise the room had no sound proofing so we were kept up by residents stomping around above us at night.
Overall, the location and staff were so nice, I would stay here again and recommend it. The beauty of the location itself overcomes any negatives.
Also, as a tip we ate at the nearby Snorting Elk Cellar Bar. It was cozy, pretty good food (bar food but some good options like a coconut curry), and really friendly staff that were caring and kind.
Excellent customer service. The rooms were really clean and cute. Sheets smelled wonderful. They were very accommodating. We only had the chance to sleep a few hours there but will definitely come back to experience everything they had to offer.

I didn't realize this was an off-season ski resort when I booked a place near Mt. Rainier. It was fine. Anyone wanting easy access to the Sunrise area of the National Park would do well to stay here.
Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was accommodating with good food. Rooms were clean and the patio was lovely in the evenings and mornings. During a heat wave they felt hot and stuffy-bring a fan. A bit pricey for what you get, but the convenience makes it a solid choice.
This was a lovely location to explore Mt. Rainier National Park. At the end of the day, the restaurant offers a variety of options, all of which were very good.

Not a good place for anyone with walking difficulty. Room was very small, no table, no soundproofing. Food was excellent, everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Lots of natural beauty!
