"Second visit to Espace Montcalm and still tiptop for value, ambience and its central location in beautiful Vannes. In fact probably better even as I had a lovely view from my room (with a newly renovated bathroom!) and the staff were extremely nice, as before, and gave me the quiet space I’d requested. Vannes is enchanting in itself but also a great base for exploring further into Brittany by bus or train, don’t miss Carnac or Auray. It’s a simple but atmospheric accommodation that attracts families and is very popular for weddings etc. I will certainly return again as it ticks all my boxes! Happy to recommend!"

"The breakfast was very small, and our room still smelled like tobacco smoke. The general room and hotel were clean though, huge plus is the cute cat that lives at the Hotel. "

"Nice hotel in a quite village, quick check in, nice room, a large selection of buffet breakfast. NOT HOTEL RELATED. One thing, we checked the area for food outlets before we booked, there was one at the top of the road, which should have been open, but was not, so apart from a burger shop, which had a 1 hour wait, there were no restaurants within walking distance and as we were on motorcycles and wanted to have a drink, we were restricted."
