"After our flight from MIA to PHL arrived four hours late, we didn't get to the hotel until 3:00 AM. Embassy Suites saved the night by sending a prompt shuttle to pick us up. By the time we checked in after 4:00 AM, we were exhausted and had decided to take a later connecting flight just to sleep in.
The front desk clerk was incredibly honest and warned us that a fire alarm test was scheduled for 8:00 AM. While we weren't thrilled at the prospect, the hotel must have handled it perfectly because the alarm never actually went off, allowing us to get some much-needed, uninterrupted rest.
Our room was wonderfully clean and comfortable. The only minor downside was that the complimentary breakfast closes at 9:30 AM. Because we slept in, it barely gave me enough time to grab food for my wife and myself—they were actually shutting it down as I was plating our meals! I do wish it stayed open just a bit longer for late arrivals.
Still, with an 11:00 AM checkout and another seamless, free shuttle ride back to the airport, this hotel turned a stressful travel delay into a great stay. We would absolutely stay here again!"
