Comfortable home, great location

Enjoy your stay in Escalante at our comfortable Powell Point Paradise. There is plenty of room for the whole family, large back yard with fire pit to enjoy evenings, beautiful views of the Escalante Grand Staircase and so much more. Centrally located, you are walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops etc. Escalante is located along the famous Scenic Byway 12.

Beautiful hikes, including many slot canyons close by, or short drives to Bryce Canyon National Park and Capital Reef National Park.

This rental was very nice - house. Was a bit dated but very comfortable and the host, Audrie, was very helpful and responsive. Would stay again!

Great place for hiking group

Very clean and large with 2 fridges - great for a group of friends! Great location to walk to town. Lots of parking so having many cars not a problem.

Reasonable price for overnight before backpack

This home worked very well for our backpacking group before tackling Coyote Gulch slot canyon. It had everything we needed and was well located to stores and restaurants. If we returned; we'd stay again.

Roomy, Comfortable Home

This home was roomy and clean. Beds were comfortable, and the fire pit was fun for cooking s’mores. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, but a can opener and cheese grater would have been nice to have. We really enjoyed our stay!

Spacious accommodations with three Kings!

We appreciated this location for close proximity to the State Park and Lower Calf Creek Falls. The bedding was comfortable and the towels were fluffy. The kitchen didn’t have everything to cook with but they had two refrigerators and it met our needs fine. Fun spot for a base while you adventure the area.

Comfortable place to stay.

The house was comfortable and roomy. Beds were comfortable too. We appreciated the quality of linens and towels. And, having extra towels if we needed them. Location was a block off the main street in Escalante, this was a plus.The home appears to be being updated, and changes that have been made made for a comfortable stay.

Day hiking in Escalante

Our party of four adults was comfortable using this property as a base for day hiking in the area. We enjoyed the location and spaciousness of the home. We did not utilize all the rooms available - it would be perfect for a family with children. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful.

The place was just as we expected. Our only problem was with the kitchen range; the two large burners did not work correctly and took forever to heat up the food we were preparing.

I'm sure it was an oversight, but dishwasher and dryer were not emptied upon arrival. If you're looking for high end, this is not the place. Could definitely use some updates. But house was in a great location, very clean, had comfortable beds, and met our needs.
