"Villa Serenidad exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful home and the view is wonderful. We really liked watching the cows and calves next door and meeting Iggy the iguana. The people of Atenas and all of Costa Rica are welcoming and so helpful with those who are not at all fluent in Spanish! I don't think we ever had even close to a bad meal either! "It’s true, the pictures do not do this justice! My husband and I spent 14 beautiful days at the Villa along with another couple. We were warmly greeted by the caretaker, Elias. "For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "Jolie propriété avec superbe vue! Confortable pour 3 adultes mais a 4 quelqu'un doit dormir sur le sofa lit (qui n'est pas assez long pour un adulte mais parfait pour des enfants). "This is a lovely clean home in a quintessential Tico neighborhood with secure off street parking. Very safe in a very tasteful way. Prettiest bathroom I've seen in Costa Rica. A couple of fans would have been nice in the afternoon. But we had perfect weather so it wasn't too bad really. The location was a challenge at first but then proved to be ideal. I would stay here again."

"Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper "

Everything was close by (restaurants, supermarket, gas station) plus the neighborhood is pretty quiet which allowed us to disconnect and have the perfect family time. "My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Denis was quick to communicate and provide us with needed information upon arrival. He was able to suggest local restaurants that were all delicious as well as some local shopping stores. Adrian was very friendly and cleaned the pool daily without us even knowing. It’s a short drive into Atenas where there is plenty of food, exploring and shopping. We liked this specific area as it was in the middle of where we wanted to visit....
