"Layout of property was very good. Several areas to congregate in. The property and appliances showed some wear & tear and would benefit from updating. Beautiful and well maintained yard. Enjoyed our stay. "

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"The place was so amazing, with its majestic views and amenities. The drive up to this please on it own its an adventure, be sure to get a 4x4 vehicle, And use a loca gps app (i recomend Waze). Google maps send us up a wrong hill and caused us to get stuck in the mud. Likely the property managers came to our aid and got us out of the pickle, thanks very much Hugo and family. For any outdoors lovers, for does looking for tue PURA VIDA experience, we totally recommend the lookout casita at the edge...

"We loved the house…so comfy and well laid out. Lots of unique features. We had so much fun, cooking together, playing games together and exploring San Jose and the surrounding area. The children were in the pool most of the time we were at the house. The housekeeper, Jessica, made us a fabulous breakfast, Costa Rican style, on our last day at there! So glad we chose this house to stay in."

"This property was built exactly as the pictures show. You can hear the ocean waves with the doors and windows closed. There is an A/C wall unit in each room and not in the open living space. The breeze blows through the house well with the windows open. This is how it was when I arrived. The waves and breeze, just beautiful. There is obvious natural wear and tear inside and outside of the property that is not shown in the pictures; loungers in the pool missing paint, rusting on metals inside due...

"Spacious, comfortable home in a peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful views and great, private patio with pool. And the steep ups and downs of the gated community’s drive are no problem once you get used to them!"

"This was our second time staying at Quinta Colina Paula and we cannot say enough good things about this property and its host, Tonia. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and were greeted by Meylin. She and her family live in the casita at the front of the property and were always kind and welcoming. Tonia also did a great job recommending drivers for short trips to town or day long excursions. We only hope it’s not another 8 years before we can return!"
