"Rarely do I give a bad review, but this Hôtel warrants one. First, Expedia states shuttle available (for a fee) and that is not the case. This is really a step up from a hostel. Bare minimum. We booked a queen bed, got a double. This hotel is for those looking for a bed to sleep and shower. The staff were great- helpful."

"Staying here was the highlight of our Switzerland/Northern Italy trip. It is the perfect location if you want to to enjoy Como’s historic center…we walked to the same bar each night and were able to walk to different restaurants within 10 minutes. "La Darsena di Riva Grande is located right on the lake in beautiful Moltrasio. (Just a 15 minute taxi ride from the Como train station) You can walk to many great restaurants, a gelataria and the ferry station in under 10 minutes. (The ferry gets you to Belagio and Varenna in less than 2 hours) You’ll also be greeted by incredible views from your private balcony or on the lower dock. "You can take the bus N1 southbound to Como in the morning. When you take bus back from Como to St Fermo, you have to take metro 74 northbound. Be sure the bus to St Fermo, because some of the buses only to halfway!"
